BIKE & HIKE ROUTE:
The Bike & Hike route is as follows. Participants will road bike about 18 miles from North Little Rock, starting at Rockwater Village, and travel to the Arkansas River Trail in North Little Rock, over the Big Dam Bridge, over the Two Rivers Bridge and Park, over to Maumelle Park then left along Pinnacle Valley Road to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, stopping at the transition station in the field next to the Environmental Pond area along Pinnacle Valley Road.
Participants leave their bikes in this secure area; change shoes and clothes if they like, and walk along the path, cross Pinnacle Valley Road and enter East Summit trailhead for the hike. Hike up the EAST side, down the WEST, then back around on the base trail, back to the transition station and ride back downtown the way they came in. The finish line party will be starting around 10am back at Rockwater Village, and will feature music, snacks, food, and drinks.
